Singing Hands

Shabang

Shabang! is a unique partnership between Kim Reuter & Russ Elias – theatre practitioners with over twenty years experience of taking accessible arts projects to special education settings.

Shabang believe creativity is for everyone, whatever level of their ability. Access to creative pursuits is a basic human right. Creativity works for communities because it brings them together, opens doors to new worlds, breaks down barriers, builds bridges, frees the imagination and allows people to laugh & learn alongside one another.

Shabang work exclusively within the field of additional learning needs. They are musicians, performers, designers, makers and qualified teachers, and combine these skills to create a special and unique shared experience inviting our audience to participate in a range of performances, workshops, events, activities and training courses.

Shabang are committed to creating accessible arts for children, young people and adults with additional learning needs. We are all equally different, so – live, love, laugh, learn ….
